The Racial Implications of the S-T Revolution

Abstract: This article discusses the scope and pace of the Scientific-Technological (S-T) revolution and its impact on the world. The author analyzes the reason for “downsizing” of US. corporations, the rise of racism in the Western capitalist world, and the impact that the S-T revolution is having on African-Americans The article describes the various aspects of part-time service workers, imperialism and the new world order, the American domestic agenda, and the changing workforce. The author raises questions on the dimensions of the globalization process, a global electronic labor market that pushes the boundaries of the nation-state to its limit, and the need of that process for the nation-state.
